Hi, my name is Nick and I like to design.

As a kid, I used to always make my parents look at houses for sale in the neighborhood. I was fascinated by the ways other people lived in their own homes. Anytime I was at a friend’s home, I would study each room and marvel at the way a house could become a home. This is what I do now. I design spaces that are worthy of being marveled at. No matter the size or scope, all spaces are compelling if they are designed with purpose and practicality in mind.

I spent my formative years at Texas A&M studying in the Environmental Design program. It’s here that I really began to understand my penchant for design. I loved creating, refining and developing ideas into concrete solutions. From a semester in Italy, to serving as the director of the Career Fair for the College of Architecture, I learned my knack for design could truly blossom into a life-long career.

Upon graduating, I spent a year in commercial architecture in Dallas, getting a crash course in project management. In an effort to be closer to home, I landed a position at a large home builder in Houston where I’ve learned the ins and outs of residential design. I’ve spent nearly a decade soaking up as much knowledge as I can, whether through working with individual clients on their dream home or large master planned communities. Above all though, I’ve learned that practicality in design matters. Spaces should be both elegant and efficient.
